The Sneaks formed in 2007 after a drunken night out in Leicester city and several hours of off key barber shop singing and Beach Boys impersonations led lead Singer Michael Seymour to have an epiphany. With his passion for 1950s Americana he decided that he wanted to create a band with the vocal complexity of the Beach Boys and similar artists, rock and roll, and modern punk and ska, to create an entertaining and energetic brand of alternative music. With the increase in gigs around the Midlands came the increase in fan base as a steady following emerged.
The band have played in and around the Midlands and have had the opportunity to play with some excellent bands including The Cute Lepers, The Atoms, Third Man and My Awesome Compilation. They also played in 2009's Glastonbudget, a pretty decent festival for discovering new bands and worthy tribute acts.
The self titled début demo was recorded and produced by the band themselves in Autumn of 08 and after a short break in the early new year the band are ready to get on with it in and are looking forward to a busy summer.
