Andi Neate is a singer songwriter of exceptional talent, combining jazz and folk influences in a style that is entirely her own. She is a compelling live performer, singing with the subtlety of Suzanne Vega with a stage presence reminiscent of Ani Difranco.
Andi made her debut at London's Mean Fiddler nearly 18 years ago. Since then she has toured as far afield as the Falkland Islands, Canada, America, Sicily, Georgia and the Czech Republic. She has recorded with the Bhundu Boys and Ireland's chart topping Mickey Harte, supported John Renbourne at the Ullapool Guitar Festival, Grammy Nominee Eliza Gilkyson, Wolfstone and Horse MacDonald.
She has also toured with Edinburgh band Salsa Celtica, and shared a stage with KT Tunstall. She has released three solo albums, including her most recent Paper Animals, featuring a range of original songs about life and the road, from California Coffee Police Boxes to origami and sandcars.
