Reviewers + Editors

We are always looking for new talented writers with an enthusiasm to dig out the new music across the UK & Ireland. A passion for music is a must. If you think you can write, send us a piece of work you have done.

We are looking for reviewers to write CD and gig reviews as well as music news reporters. Each of the regions requires it's own editor. An editor does not need previous editorial experience but musty show editing qualities such as organization of regional reviewers and content of regional sites.

Are you up on your local scene? Do you know the top new bands in your area? Free tickets + stuff and experience within the music journalism industry are what we offer: A chance to develop your contacts and network within the industry.

"Spark, spunk, attitude and opinion, an eye on the ball and your ear on the ground." If this is you and you love going to gigs and listening to music, then get in touch.

Candidates from other areas outside our listed regions should also apply if they are interested in developing Glasswerk in their regions.

Promoters

Promoters are needed to book support acts, promote and run events across the UK & Ireland - particularly London, Liverpool, Manchester, South Wales and Nottingham. Candidates should have a very thorough knowledge of the music industry in their local area including bands, venues, local press and potential promotion opportunities. A good knowledge of the UK music scene as a whole is also preferable while a love of music is a must. All genres of music are of interest. No prior promotion experience is required as training will be given.

The position is paid on a gig by gig basis - please contact for more information.

Writers

Writers are needed to cover live music all over the UK & Ireland. No previous experience is required but a submission of writing is needed to prove writing ability.

The position is unpaid but you can get free entry to gigs.

If you are interested in any of these positions, email editor@glasswerk.co.uk with your details and the position you are interested in applying for.
