Eerie Liverpool guitar pop trio Le Emu Tavern this week release their Christmas single ‘No Room At The Inn’.
The band will be launching the single with a hometown Christmas show at the Lomax on Saturday 17 December.
According to the band the single is a “welcome Christmas gift in these hard times of austerity. We’ve taken serious time out from our work at the local donkey orphanage to make it happen. We used to sit around in the orphanage playing it with an acoustic and a tambourine until the little tykes fell asleep.”
They go on to say “we’re beside ourselves with excitement at the thought of playing our hometown Christmas show at one of only two places on earth where we have seen Hooky from New Order in the flesh.”
