No list of new releases for you all this week – so if you still have a few presents to buy then you’ll have to look elsewhere for ideas.
It seems that the X Factor has triumphed in the Christmas number one stakes. It wasn’t a great shock to see that Little Mix went straight to number one with Cannonball. Leona Lewis meanwhile had to make do with number 8 with her controversial (i.e. crap) cover of the classic Hurt.
And The Wombles didn’t even make the official top 100. What’s wrong with single buyers these days?
