So much for the summer eh? A bank holiday weekend rolls round and the heavens open, the British weather never fails to let us down does it? It certainly didn’t stop me having a pretty jam-packed but mega fun bank holiday though.
I went to the Leeds leg of Slam Dunk Festival on Sunday and had a fantastic time. I got to chat to some brilliant acts and got to see one of my very favourite bands, New Found Glory, again! I can’t think of a better way to spend the weekend really. Although, I may have been more inclined to get out of bed yesterday if the weather been better.
Well, today is the 1st of June and supposedly the start of summer. It’s pouring down here in Liverpool, I hope it’s a bit better where you are but I’m very doubtful! Ah well, there’s always other things that can cheer us up. Brendan Benson and Adam Green are currently doing it for me; these boys never let me down.
Ah well, another suggestion would be to read the super stuff on the site. This week we have: competitions to win Stevie Wonder goodies and the new Cha-Cha album, new videos from Ciara and Funeral Party and interviews with The Boy Who Trapped The Sun and Rodrigo Y Gabriela. If that’s not enough Wallis Bird, Kof, Black Mountain and Devil Sold His Soul are all on tour!
