Anison hail from Kingston Upon Thames in South West London; an area which has recently seen a resurgence in up and coming bands including Mystery Jets, The Laurel Collective, Good Shoes, Larikin Love and Jamie T to name a few.
An initial recording session with producer Peter Lorentz, led to the birth of the track 6 th Morning, the first definitive Anison song. 6 th Morning was a great success, leading the band to airplay on XFM from the wonderful Claire Sturgess, and also on Radio 1 from Steve Lamacq.
Anison have supported the likes of Zane Lowe and Eddy Temple Morris on The Ibiza Rocks tour, along with slots with Pull Tiger Tail in London and Switches at Kingston's infamous New Slang night.
