DIVA SUICIDE [link]
London based Diva Suicide are five-piece industrial gothic-rock band who describe their sound as "grievous basslines interweaved with dark electronic passages, stereo guitars crashing in like monolithic slabs either side".
Their popularity continues to grow, already notching up radio play, support slots and international gigs, rocking magazine reviews, and being named Classic Rock Magazine's Track Of The Day in October.
With a seven track EP on its way and new band line-up, Diva Suicide are an up-and-coming band to watch as they challenge the big boys with their "genuine major league potential" (Malcom Dome, Classic Rock/TotalRock).
CRYOGENICA [link]
Cryogenica is a London-based, Anglo-Swedish electro-rock band formed in 2006.
Their music has been compared to “A Perfect Circle, Curve, Emilie Autumn, NIN & Tool; and described as being “deliciously catchy and brutally honest with cutting guitars slicing up deep vocals and lip-smackingly good beats for a fine finish and a positive taster of the band’s debut album” (Sphere Magazine, June 2009). Devolution Magazine, Issue 21. June (2009) described the band as retaining “a dark edge [with] well written tracks. Carina's vocals are strong and distinguished and the music has enough in the way of guts to create a backing [with] driving guitar riffs and industrial electronics. If industrial goth is your thing, then Cryogenica would make a worth while port of call".
STAR SCREAM [link]
This Brighton/London trio Star Scream's past gigs include support slots with heavyweights such as Rachel Stamp, Queen Adreena, The Duke Spirit, The Others and Amen, the latter of which saw them hand picked by none other than metal legend Casey Chaos. They describe the soundtrack of their lives as a dash of Nightmare Before Christmas, a dollop of Mechanical Animals, a spoonful of Manic Street Preachers and a hint of Little Shop of Horrors, all chucked in the blender and turned on to Fast Riff for several bars, then served with a garnish of Star Scream.
DEAD HEAVEN [link]
Dead Heaven is a 2 piece band which harkens to the glory days of Electronica, Punk and Goth – put into a blender and turned into the best musical smoothie around. Their new EP "The Dark Half" contains 4 blistering songs, 3 excellent originals and an excellent cover of Gary Numan's "We Are So Fragile".
