Jake Hall
Its a voice thats unforgettable and almost unimaginable for someone 20 years old. Soulful, raw and confident way beyond those years, his voice has leanings from black US soul legend Bill Withers to the UKs Paul Weller on any given day.
Born and bred in Englands west country Jake Hall moved to the south of France, Nice to be exact, and immersed himself into its live music scene - "This is where I found myself to grow rapidly as a musician, playing mainly guitar, piano, double bass and few others" he says. Playing live in Nice soon became a natural daily thing, whether playing at bars, restaurants, parties or in the Old Town busking.
With blond surfer looks and a gentle demeanour, Jake soon settled in comfortably to the Cote d'Azur honing his craft. He played over 200 gigs across 2 summers and was set to stay there for a 3rd. However a chance meeting at one of his shows, with a tired music producer on his way back from the worlds biggest music conference in Cannes in early 2010, saw Jake drop the sunny skies of France for the bright lights of London.
Now based in London and currently in the studio working on material, Jake is collaborating with writers and producers that have worked with the likes Michael Jackson and James Morrison.
