Bloc Party Announce New Single & Bloctober Tour

Bloc Party release a brand new single 'One More Chance' on the 10 August 2009 through Wichita Recordings. The previously unreleased track was recorded in April with Jacknife Lee (REM) and mixed in Paris with Phillipe Zdar (Phoenix,Cassius). 'One More Chance' will be aired for the first time on Zane Lowe’s show this Thursday 18 June.

Bloc Party are set to play the biggest ever iTunes Festival at The Roundhouse in London on 20 July with support from Delphic and The Invisible. Tickets are free for competition winners and details can be found here: [link]
Each performance will be recorded and sold exclusively on all 22 iTunes Stores worldwide.

The band are to headline the 2 stage at Glastonbury on Friday 26 June and will perform as second headliners on the main stage at the Reading and Leeds Festival. They play Leeds on Saturday 29 August and Reading on Sunday 30 August.

If that weren't enough, Bloc Party will be playing a VERY special Glastonbury warm-up show at the Garage in London on Thursday the 25th of June. The venue doesn't officially open until Friday the 26th, so this is the pre-opening party and is in aid of Trekstock in association with The Teenage Cancer Trust. The Garage is one of the few London venues the band have not played, so it's going to be a very special night.
