The excitement level for Sonisphere 2010 looks set to surpass that of the sheer impact last year’s initial festival had on us.
There’s a few new additions to 2010 line up including Placebo, Papa Roach and Fear Factory. Fear Factory pulled out of last year’s line up so the festival are happy to see them back for a second shot.
The bizarrist addition is perhaps not the personality, but the activity in which they are participating. Henry Rollins will take to the Bohemia stage on the Sunday Morning to do a bit of a spoken word sermon. Heavy religion is perhaps not the front most thing on metallars minds on the second day of a festival ; Hang-overs in overdrive and in need of a metal fix pretty bad to pop them back out of it. But If it’s Rollins doing the talking then perhaps he’ll be worth listening to.
