New Album From The Automatic

The Automatic return with their brilliant third album ‘Tear The Signs Down’ on March 15th.

It’s hard to believe it’s almost five years since The Automatic signed their first record deal and began their meteoric rise from a local band in the small Welsh village of Cowbridge to topping the charts, touring the world and having their pictures all over magazines covers everywhere.

Now in 2010, the band prepare to release their third album “Tear The Signs Down” which musically and lyrically marks another massive leap away from those small town roots and reflects the experiences of a band who are in control of not only their music but also, now everything else as well. As the title suggests, they are following their own path regardless of anything or anyone.

Featuring the singles ‘Interstate’ and ‘Run and Hide’, ‘Tear The Signs Down’ was recorded in the band’s own Cardiff studios with long time producer Richard Jackson (Future Of The Left, Super Furry Animals) over a ten month period in 2009. Freed from a major label deal, ‘Tear Down The Signs’ will be released on the band’s own Armoured Records.

In support of the release, the band are about to embarking on a headline tour that will take in the whole of the UK. The full tour dates are as follows:
