Elliot Minor have announced the independent direct release of the “Solaris” acoustic album. The acoustic CD is being put together with a DVD of the Kerrang TV live special and the music videos of “Discover”, “Solaris”, “Electric High” and “I Believe” all in a really cool package. The music will be acoustic versions of their latest full album release and several bonus tracks. Alex Davies, Ed Minton and Dan Hetherton will be playing and singing on the recordings.
Alex Davies says “We had been thinking about doing an acoustic version of Solaris for quite a while now. Its really about showing a different angle on the band, exposing the vocals, piano and orchestration which is applicable to acoustic music! There will be some surprises hidden away too!”
The CD/DVD is only available through the bands store at [link] and if you order it before October 16th it will arrive personalised by the guys. Itunes will follow but not until December.
The tour of the UK and Ireland in support of the release will be Alex, Ed & Dan on stage with Acoustic Guitars, Piano and percussion with all 3 singing the harmonies they are known for. The venues are all the smaller rooms so it can be up close and personal, no crash barriers!
