Since forming on Eel Pie Island in 2004 Mystery Jets have released some of the most intriguing psychedelic guitar-pop of the decade and thrown some of the best parties. This month on Topman CTRL, Mystery Jets, one of the UK’s favourite bands will reveal all, from their love for West-London neighbours The Count & Sinden to their favourite dubstep producers. Mystery Jets say: "Ever since we've put on our first shows at the Boat House on Eel Pie Island it's always been really important for us to put together support bills of new bands that we are excited to play with. It's great to do Topman CTRL and play with our good friends The Count & Sinden who always make for a good party and Tribes whose demos we can't stop listening to right now."
Mystery Jets have chosen friends The Count & Sinden, for whom the band featured on their track After Dark. The Essex duo have made waves in the UK club/house scene with their debut album ‘Mega Mega Mega’ and with a list of influences spanning the globe they create a dynamic live set that is truly unforgettable. Opening the night are indie new-comers Tribes who have created a distinctive sound, somewhere between Pavement and The Courteeners.
