The Maccabees have said that they will debut a new song at this weekends Reading And Leeds festivals and that they want this to be a benchmark for them.
In an interview with NME magazine guitarist Felix White said that the band are debating whether to play one or two new songs.
"There's one called 'Child' and there's another one we haven't got a name for yet, but it's shaping up as a kind of David Bowie '"Heroes"'-type song,"
He added: "Every time we've done Reading and Leeds it's been a benchmark moment."
