Tinchy Stryder Looks Forward To London’s Biggest Indoor Festival
Tinchy Stryder will have a festival slot at London’s biggest indoor festival, LIVE FEST. He says it will be one of the highlights of his summer.

Live Fest is set to take The O2 by storm on July 23rd with Tinchy Stryder and some of the hottest acts from the UK music scene performing at the festival.

The star of ‘Spaceship’, which is due to enter the charts this weekend, is on the bill with fellow urban acts N-Dubz, Roll Deep and Tempa T. Tinchy, who had a brief stint in Roll Deep, is licking his lips at the prospect, “there’s so many top urban acts there. I’ve not done anything with Roll Deep for a while so I hope I get to hang out with them. N-Dubz are great live so yeah, it’ll be good.”

It’s a home gig for Londoner Tinchy who rose to prominence in 2009 with the song ‘Take Me Back’, a collaboration with Taio Cruz, which peaked in the UK Singles Chart at number 3. Stryder followed that up with the hit ‘Number 1’ with N-Dubz, which as the title states, went straight in at the number one chart position.

Tinchy can’t wait for July 23rd, “it will be brilliant. It’s exciting to be playing The O2 for Live Fest. I remember the first time I ever played there it was an amazing experience. It’s one of the best venues in the world. I always look forward to playing there.”

The Live Fest audience could well be in for a treat with stars of the hit ‘Spaceship’, Tinchy Styder and Dappy from N-Dubz, both on the bill. Tinchy is excited to get the chance to perform his latest single, “it’s what I’m pushing at the moment so it’s only right we do it as we’re on the same bill at Live Fest! I’ve only ever been in the studio with Dappy so it’s exciting to be on the bill with him. I’ve supported N-Dubz on tour and they’re great live. Well worth seeing.”

Also on the line-up for Live Fest which’ll be spread over five venues within the famous London O2 are D’n’B massive DAN LE SAC Vs SCROOBIUS PIP, and indie pop sensations THE HOOSIERS. As well as DJ sets from FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND, KIDS IN GLASS HOUSES and indie rock act GUILLEMOTS.

Other acts confirmed are PEGASUS BRIDGE, MISSING ANDY, PARADISE POINT, SATURDAY NIGHT GYM CLUB and MY ELECTRIK. Tickets for the event are priced at an early bird cost of just £25 and can be purchased from the Live Fest website.

As if all that wasn’t enough, the IndigO2 hosts the Grand National Finals of the Live and Unsigned competition as part of this massive indoor festival. To find out more about Live and Unsigned visit [link].
