Loopallu festival organisers have announced Ash as their Saturday night headliner.

The band join already confirmed acts The Feeling, Buzzcocks, Jon Fratelli, Kassidy and more.

Ash have enjoyed a rich career spanning 18 years, five albums and 18 top 40 singles, including "Girl From Mars" and "Burn Baby Burn".

Loopallu festival takes place on the 16th and 17th of September 2011 in Ullapool, Scotland.
