Every now and then there sparks a gig that goes down in folklore. Older brother tell wild stories to younger siblngs, jealously reminiscing over guitar scorched flash's and sweaty shapes.
I maybe over exaggerating... but am I? This is the scene gig of the year so far, with support from Honeymoon Suite and Yes Sensai, you are a fool if you miss this.
Saving Aimee are 6-man party band hailing from St Albans, Hertfordshire.
Since forming in late 2006, they have spent a majority of their time crammed into their van and can usually be found on some motorway or other on their way to (or from) good times.
Their heavy touring schedule has found them sharing stages with Enter Shikari (as main tour support on the ES's January 2007 tour, plus on the bill of the band's St Albansa Arena show in the summer of the same year. Feb 24th sees Saving Aimee join them as main support for Enter Shikari's London Astoria NME show too), KIll Hannah, McFly and Simple Plan, as well as embarking on a 5 week rotating headline tour with Tonight Is Goodbye and Furthest Drive Home.
This coming March, they head out for a short co-headline tour with We Are The Ocean to coincide with the release of the free download-only single 'Boredom Often Leads To Depression' (a video for which was made, and which can be viewed at the band's Myspace page and - touching wood - various music channels very soon).
Saving Aimee are currently writing and rehearsing tracks for their debut album which will be recorded in the summer of 2008.
