Blur Close Glastonbury With A Career Spanning Set

Re-formed Blur closed Glastonbury last night (28th June) with a set that spanned the band's career.

Front man, Daman Albarn, shouted, "Wow, there's a lot of people here!" after Blur opened the set on the Pyramid Stage with 'She's So High'.

"I came here yesterday really early in the morning, it seems like there's a positive atmosphere... That's what I want to say about something else, let's keep it positive!" The singer added.

Extra musicians, including brass and backing singers, joined the band at various points throughout the set, with '13' album tracks 'Trimm Trabb' and 'Tender' particularly benefiting from enhanced arrangements.

For the song 'Parklife', actor Phil Daniels emerged on stage to accompany the band.

Blur returned to the stage for two encores before ending the festival with 'The Universal'.

"Take care, goodnight," Albarn shouted to the crowd as he and his bandmates left the stage for the final time.
