Madness To Headline Next Month's Summer Madness

British ska pop legends Madness will be headlining next month’s hotly anticipated open air music extravaganza “Summer Madness!” in the shadow of a magnificent medieval fortress at Carisbrooke Castle Fields, Isle of Wight, on 30 August.

Suggs and the band will be going One Step Beyond to entertain the crowds with their popular back-catalogue of sing along hits including My House and My Girl’s Mad at Me. Gates open at 3pm and with many support acts performing throughout the day, not to mention a range of bars, food outlets and stalls, the event is sure to be an excellent addition to the Isle of Wight’s full to the brim calendar of world class events.

Taking place during August Bank Holiday, “Summer Madness!” offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy what promises to be a fantastic UK summer in one of the most beautiful locations in the British Isles. Why not stay longer? Red Funnel offer a huge range of accommodation, and prices for the bank holiday start from just £110 per room for two nights B&B, plus when you book with Red Funnel you can enjoy a 25% discount on your ferry travel.

Tickets for “Summer Madness!” are available from [link] for £43.50 including all fees and postage costs.

Travelling to the Isle of Wight is easy with Red Funnel. The Red Jet Hi-Speed foot passenger service whisks visitors from Southampton to Cowes in just 23 minutes, where buses and taxis will connect with the event site. Vehicle Ferries run around the clock from Southampton which is within easy reach of the M3 and M27. Ferry crossings cost from just £32 return for a car and up to 6 passengers, or £12 return for foot passengers.
