Abbey Road Merchandise Launched

Abbey Road Studios, the world’s most famous recording studio, announces the introduction of a new range of products for music lovers, musicians, audio enthusiasts and curious fans alike.

Host to the British music scene and some of the world’s most celebrated artists from The Beatles to Kasabian, Abbey Road Studios has an unparalleled legacy at the heart of British music; with the highest level of creativity in design and production, the new product line maintains an effort to preserve the integrity and authenticity of Abbey Road Studios. The inspiration for all of the products comes from within the walls of Abbey Road Studios – from the skills and talent of the artists and engineers who record, mix and master at the studios, to the unique and exclusive cutting-edge audio equipment.

A range of carefully selected t-shirts, laptop cases and notebooks will be the first products to feature. The collection features 10 different t-shirt designs at £25, four types of laptop cases at £20 and three styles of notebooks at £10. New designs, colours and sizes are planned for later in the year.

The new Abbey Road Studios designs feature bold and witty references to the Abbey Road Studios legacy of innovation in music recording and iconic equipment design. For example, one of the 13” laptop cases features a graphic of the legendary TG12345 MK II recording desk, a unique and much-loved piece of audio equipment created by Abbey Road Studios’ in-house research development engineers.

Kerin Purcell, Head of Brand and Marketing at Abbey Road Studios, said: “Generations of legendary musicians have chosen Abbey Road Studios to record their greatest work, and we wanted our product line to reflect the authenticity of that legacy. The world of music is dynamic and diverse, and expanding the Abbey Road Studios name through consumer products ensures that we can continue to support future generations of artists.”
