We Rock Like Girls Don't Release Single

We Rock Like Girls don't are set to release their new double a side single, Welcome To My World/Feeling Lonely Now, on 26th April through Domino Publishing Co.

Welcome To My World is a stunning collaboration of Rock'n'Roll, intensity, supreme musicianship, stripped vocals and pop choruses mixed together by US producer John Goodmanson who's previous credits include Sleater Kinney, Gossip, Simple Plan, Death Cab For Cutie, Wu Tang Clan and many more.

The duo were short listed for the XFM 2010 New Music Awards for their stunning debut album How Did It Get To This, capping a remarkable 12 months for them. Spending most of last year touring the UK, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands and Italy in their beat up VW estate held together with string and gaffer tape, spurred on by stage invasions in Germany and the crowd singing the words at the Leffingeleuren Festival in Belgium.

In August 09 the band signed to Domino Publishing Company and immediately began recording new material in Seattle with producer John Goodmanson resulting in the breath-taking new single Welcome To My World.

We Rock Like Girls Don't were formed when Glaswegian guitarist/vocalist Ros Cairney moved to London, advertised for a Rock'n'Roll Freak in Loot and met her match in Greek/London drummer Vas Antoniadou.

Initially a trio, the band received instant attention with two self released 7" singles Rock'n'Roll Freak and I Just Want To Stick My Head In a Bass Drum, and infiltrated the final of Onemusic Unsigned on daytime Radio 1.

After a period of what one might call 'musical differences' they downsized to a duo without losing any of their visceral intensity and released self-financed debut album How Did It Get To This to underground critical acclaim in 2009.
