Tiger Please Release Seasons

Keeping up the momentum from 2009’s critically acclaimed debut ‘They Don’t Change Under Moonlight’, Tiger Please return with a four track EP ‘Seasons’ to be released on Walnut Tree Records on 19th April 2010.

The band entered Long Wave Studios with producer Romesh Dodangoda (Manic Street Preachers, Cerys Matthews, Glassjaw) in April 2010 and posed themselves the following question… “4 Seasons – 1 Question. Is Love the reason we’re all alive?”

Vocalist Leon Stanford quotes…“Seasons define our surroundings and the way in which they change throughout the year. The four tracks contained within this EP explore each and every season and explain how not only my life, but everyone’s are entwined with our surroundings. Like a tree in Autumn I watched the beauty fade and fall around me. In Spring I watched it return to me. “

When pressed to answer the question, Stanford has to say… “Love really is the reason we’re all alive. Be it the love we search for or the love which we receive… it’s our driving force.”

With that in mind, ‘Seasons’ EP is the bands boldest (and best) song-writing to date. Each track explores the motifs of its season and tells its own story, yet together they document the world and its ways. Backed with a crescendo of uplifting guitar patterns and beautiful string arrangements Stanfords’ vocal work has the ability melt the stoniest of hearts. A truly complete record if ever there was one.

Seasons tracklisting:
i. Summer In The House Of Confessions
ii. Autumn Came The Fall
iii. Winter And The Storyteller
iv. Spring And Its Offering
