Diana Vickers, The Saturdays, Taio Cruz and Professor Green Added to The T4 On The Beach Line Up

T4 On The Beach, sponsored by Aygo by Toyota, returns to Weston-super-Mare on Sunday 4th July and today Channel 4 announces yet more of the dazzling chart-toppers who will be performing at the UK’s best beach party.

X Factor finalist Diana Vickers will make her first appearance on the beach, following on from her spectacular success over the past month. This week, she celebrated her debut album ‘Songs From The Tainted Cherry Tree’, which shot straight to the top of the UK album charts just a fortnight after her debut single ‘Once’ reached number one in the Official UK Top 40.

Pop sensations The Saturdays will return to the beach for a second year after a stunning debut in 2009. The quintet will belt out hit tracks from their second album ‘Wordshaker’, including ‘Forever Is Over’ and ‘Ego’, as the girls get ready to get the crowd dancing in the sand.

R’n’B king Taio Cruz will also be joining the line-up, fresh from his successful collaboration with pop diva Ke$ha. The ‘Dirty Picture’ star has had a good year, with his smash-hit single ‘Break Your Heart’ storming to number one in the US Billboard Chart and UK singles chart and he will showcase his unique talent to the T4 crowd for the second consecutive year.

After receiving plaudits for his debut single ‘I Need You Tonight’ from pop princess Lily Allen, fast emerging English rapper Professor Green will make his T4 On The Beach debut. The singer will showcase his rapping skills to the bumper crowd, ahead of what is shaping up to be a promising debut year for the East London artist.

There are very few tickets left so fans hoping to head to the beach to enjoy the action are advised to snap them up quickly to avoid disappointment. Tickets are priced at £37 and can be bought from Ticketmaster (0844 847 1743) and [link].

Channel 4 has already revealed a number of acts who will be performing at the event with JLS, N-Dubz, Jason Derulo, Tinie Tempah, Alexandra Burke, Scouting for Girls, Pixie Lott, Chipmunk and Ellie Goulding already confirmed for the summer bill.

More acts and special surprises will be revealed over the coming months so fans are advised to keep tuning in to T4 weekends, the T4 website [link] social network profile pages for all the latest news and exclusives.

T4 presenter Miquita Oliver commented: “Less than two months to go now and I’m feeling a bit impatient – I just want to get on that stage and watch all of the artists perform now! It’s going to be another brilliant day – and there’s much more to come! Keep watching T4 and we’ll be bringing you everything you need to know for July 4th ”
