Circa Survive are set to release their brand new album ‘Blue Sky Noise’ on July 26 via Atlantic Records, preceded by single ‘Get Out’ on July 19. The band have also announced a UK tour which kicks off on July 12 in Cardiff and includes a date a London’s Underworld on July 14.

Produced by Grammy Award winner David Bottrill (Tool, Muse), ‘Blue Sky Noise’ was released to critical acclaim in the US last month (which included a phenomenal 4.5/5 review in Alternative Press - they also grace this month’s cover), it debuted at number 11 on the Billboard top 200 and went straight in at number one on both the Alternative album chart and Vinyl album chart.

The Pennsylvanian quintet formed in 2004 and unleashed their acclaimed debut, ‘Juturna’ the following year. The album – coupled with the band’s relentless touring – saw the birth of a fervent fan following, one which would catapult 2007’s sophomore release, ‘On Letting Go’ to a Top 25 chart debut on the Billboard top 200.

Circa Survive launched work on ‘Blue Sky Noise’ in 2008 in a cottage in Doylestown, Pennsylvania (which they named ‘The Creek House’), signed to Atlantic a year later and recorded the album. The twelve songs on ‘Blue Sky Noise’ swell and dissolve into each other, layers of sound build with revving guitars and patterned rhythms, and the ardor of Anthony Green’s vocals allows the record to intensify and suspend, sprawling into vast atmospheric spaces and surging together into dramatic climaxes. Every track stands alone, but each stands taller beside its companions.

A remarkably volatile live act, Circa Survive have headlined numerous sold out tours while also sharing stages with an array of independent-minded artists, including My Chemical Romance, Coheed & Cambria, The Gaslight Anthem, Pelican, Rise Against, and countless others. The band have additionally performed at a wide range of festivals including the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, where their performance prompted Spin to praise frontman Anthony Green’s “crystalline, soprano vocals” which “whip out above the fracas, weaving in and out between Circa’s dueling guitars.” They are also set to play the prestigious Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Tennessee this summer.

The band were in the UK in April to play two exclusive rapturously received shows (at Manchester’s Roadhouse and London’s Flowerpot), which received a fantastic 4K review in Kerrang! Magazine. They are back for a headline tour in July, full dates as follows -
