A Facebook campaign to get John Cage's famous avant-garde silence, entitled 4'33", to number one this Christmas has gone from 150 to 2.2k followers in the last few hours.
With status updates such as "OVER 2000 MEMBERS! WHERE IS YOUR GOD NOW, MICHELLE MCMANUS!?", the campaign's creators seem to be motivated by the same disgust with commercial pop music that drove the 2009 RATM campaign to be such a surprise success.
They're organised, too - supporters can sign up for a reminder that will deliver a chart-eligible link to their inbox on December 13th.
