To celebrate its tenth year, premier dance festival GlobalGathering will celebrate with a spectacular air show hosted by the legendary Red Bull Matadors.
The aerobatic flight extravaganza will showcase an array of remarkable air stunts including extreme crossover manoeuvres, a variety of formation and patterns and pilots Steve Jones and Paul Bonhomme will entertain festival-goers by flying toward each other at a combined speed of 400mph.
Renowned for their daring aerobatic trickery, Paul and Steve have performed across Europe, and have toured throughout China, Japan and the Middle East in the FAI World Grand Prix series. The teams’ spectacular stunts have scooped them three Gold and two Silver medals in the formation category, including a Gold medal at the 2004 World Grand Prix in Al Ain, UAE.
This is just one of the many highlights at this year’s GlobalGathering taking place in Stratford-upon-Avon on the 30th and 31st July. The festival will play host to show-stopping performances from Faithless, Dizzee Rascal, 2manydjs (Live), Chase & Status (Live), Armin Van Buuren, Carl Cox and many more.
With over 50,000 dance music fans expected at the event – located in the heart of Shakespeare’s country, festival goers will be treated to incredible sets from over 150 of the most exciting DJ’s in the world who will take to the 16 stages to keep the crowds dancing through the two day festival.
