In what's sure to be the first of many similar stories, it has been announced that Suede are to replace Amy Winehouse at this year's Bilbao BBK Live festival.
The festival - that takes place in Bilbao, Spain on the 7th-9th July - released the following statement alongside the news.
"We were all sad when we found that Amy Winehouse cancelled this summer's European dates which affected her headline slot at Bilbao BBK Live festival...but as they say, every cloud has a silver lining!
Just a couple of days to the festival and we can proudly announce that Suede will be taking Friday's headline slot! What else can we ask for??"
Suede join already confirmed acts Coldplay, The Black Crowes, 30 Seconds to Mars, Beady Eye, Bondie and the Kaiser Chiefs. More information can be found by following this [link].
