Exciting news that may well alter Christmas lists: the End of the Road Festival has made its first lineup announcement for 2011.
The 6th edition of the festival will include a UK festival exclusive from Midlake - plus appearances from The Fall, Wild Beasts, The Walkmen, Willy Mason and former Czars singer John Grant.

VAT quirk: buying tickets this year will save visitors a fiver as the VAT rise means the price of a full-price ticket will rise from £140 to £145 on 1 January 2011.
Ticket prices for the festival are as follows:
Adult weekend (incl. camping): £140 (increasing to £145 on 1.1.11 when VAT increases)
Youth 13-17 years (inc camping, must be accompanied by an adult): £120
Child 6-12 years (inc camping must be accompanied by an adult): £55
Child 0 - 5 years (inc camping): free (limited to 2 per order, must be bought in advance)
Campervan / Caravan pass £50
Tickets are still on sale for the End of the Road Christmas Shindig at XOYO on 16th December, there will be live music from the amazing Archie Bronson Outfit, Cate Le Bon and Singing Adams, with End of the Road DJs until late!
