The Ting Tings, Summer Camp And Jessie J Added To Mencap's Little Noise Sessions

Mencap’s Little Noise Sessions have enlisted the award winning Manchester duo The Ting Tings, US sensation Lissie, rising star Saintsaviour, Summer Camp, Benjamin Francis Leftwich and Jessie J to this year’s blistering bill, which kicks off at the Union Chapel next Monday and runs through to 20th November.

The 2 x platinum selling band The Ting Tings join Welsh legend Tom Jones and his special guests on Monday November 15th. After selling more than 2 million copies of their debut ‘We Started Nothing’, The Ting Tings have dominated the charts and the airwaves with the likes of ‘That’s Not My Name’ and ‘Great DJ’. Now their big sound is set to rock the Union Chapel for Little Noise 2010.

Critics pick for 2011 Jessie J will be bringing her “ghetto-fabulous swagger” to the Union Chapel on Tuesday 16th November. Opening for Paolo Nutini and joining Rumer and Michael Kiwanuka, the “urban-pop diamond” who notably wrote Miley Cyrus’s Number One billboard smash ‘Party In The USA!’’ is sure to give audiences a real treat.

Bluesy Folk-pop might not be the most conventional collaboration of styles but it sure works for Lissie. This mid-western gal has worked with the likes of Band of Horses and is gathering critical acclaim around the world. Also added to the bill is fellow folkster Benjamin Francis Leftwich. This 21 year old combines the sounds of Jose Gonzales and Iron and Wine, creating a beautifully melancholic sound. They are set to join Ellie Goulding, Stornoway and Tinashé on the final night of Mencap’s Little Noise Sessions on November 20th.

Saintsaviour has been making waves with her unique vocal having worked with the mighty Groove Armada and has bedrock of critical acclaim. Described as summer in a box, London two–piece Summer Camp are set to warm up the Union Chapel alongside Clare Maguire, Joe Worricker, Saintsaviour and headliners – Hurts on Wednesday 17th November. Devised of Jeremy Warmsley and Elizabeth Sankey, Summer Camp’s gorgeously tropical sway has been winning hearts wherever they go.
