Kitchen Sink Movement

Glasswerk is happy to present the newly discovered band Kitchen Sink Movement, the four childhood friends Leo Vene, Mathias Eriksson, Gustav Kjellman and Jens Lindqvist from Sweden started of playing for fun in early 2007 that’s when they discovered their unique talent, they then decided to form the band Kitchen Sink Movement in 2008. With their mix of old school rock and modern indie, Kitchen Sink Movement has a very unique sound, with the amazing skills from the guitarist Mathias Eriksson (20 years old) they get a mixed sound of the Rolling Stones and the Horrors In their new single True Romance, were he gives us a extraordinary guitar solo.

The singer Leo Vene (21 years old) is the bands representative and with his exceptional voice Leo gives that retro rock feeling that has been a great success in Sweden.

The Indie quartet has been inspired by bands like the Doors and Beatles,
Kitchen Sink Movement has great plans for the future and aspirations to have similar success as Babyshambles, Arctic Monkeys and Glasvegas witch is some of the band member’s personal inspirations. The band would like to expand their fan base and get started in UK, and is now looking for possible venues.
The band comes from a very eclectic background were the band members has played in everything from punk to jazz, and this has definitely been mirrored in their music.
Kitchen Sink Movement’s new single will soon be released on Itunes and Spotify,
