Hop Farm This Weekend

Tickets are still available for this weekend’s Hop Farm Festival, headlined by Blondie and Van Morrison on the Friday night (tonight) and Bob Dylan and Ray Davies on Saturday. Also on Saturday, playing alongside these legendary musicians, will be young established artists including Mumford & Sons, Peter Doherty, Laura Marling and The Magic Numbers, as well as Seasick Steve. Now in it’s third year the Hop Farm Festival is a two day event with camping, set in the grounds of the picturesque Hop Farm, Paddock Wood, Kent. It offers something for everyone including: three stages, five-a-side celebrity football, comedy acts and a fun fair.

Bob Dylan, appearing in his only UK show, is a huge draw card for the event. At 69 years of age Dylan’s live shows are infamous and unique, with a set list that changes from night to night. The Kinks vocals and guitarist Ray Davies will hopefully thrill the Hop Farm crowd with hits from the back-catalogue such as ‘You Really Got Me’ and ‘Lola’.

Event organiser Vince Power said: “We have had a fantastic response to 2010’s Hop Farm Festival and we’re very excited about the weekend’s line up. The Bread & Roses stage adds something for everyone with a great mix of music sets and comedy shows from the likes of Bob Mills and Keith Platt.”

The Hop Farm Festival is a unique experience, as an event free of ticket registration, with no sponsorship or branding. The festival offers an experience of boutique camping, top-notch food and traditional ales.

Tickets are now on sale with Friday Day tickets at £45 & Saturday Day tickets at £65. A two day ticket is also available for £110,
with the option of a two-night camping ticket for £25.
