Picture this.

Splitting Summer sun, light breeze, barbeque lightly smoking in the background, beers on ice and banter all around.
There's one thing missing from this picture and that is some crackin' tunes.

David E. Sugar will most likely be playing in the background in this dream sequence.

The new British singer is set to release single 'Party Killer' on August 9th. The song is laidback Summer electro/indie. It has enough beat to get you moving in your deck chair, it's quiet enough but not passable and the Hawaiian/ukelele vibe going on throughout the track is what hot days in July were made for.

An official video has not been released as of yet, but check it out above on Youtube!

The song could have been a better dancefloor number with more of a kicking bass beat and a more electronic treatment, but as it stand the song works as it is. Expect to hear this tune throughout the summer and better yet, if you munchkins are packing your sleeping bags and condoms for Oxegen, you will see Mr. Sugar there on Saturday!
