Suspire To Launch Single ‘Salvation Sister’ in Glasgow

Indie rockers, Suspire, are to release a new single, produced by Echo & The Bunnymen guitarist, Gordy Goudie. The single, Salvation Sister, is due out on 5th September on the band’s own label, Clay Davis Record.

To mark the occasion of the release, Suspire will host a launch party at The Arches in Glasgow on Saturday 3rd September 2011. Support will come from Tragic O’Hara and The Lonely Boy.

Suspire are a three-piece act that all live together in the north of Glasgow. Last year, they made their major festival debut at RockNess; played for the second time at the Edinburgh Fringe; supported 90s rock legends Shonen Knife at King Tut’s; were approached by original Simple Minds drummer, Brian McGee to be the main support for XSM – and topped that with a gig in downtown Vancouver.

Recently, the band have been promoting the new single with live sessions at Manchester’s Salford FM and Manchester Radio Online, which created a buzz across the pond, resulting in San Francisco’s big indie radio station, Pacific FM, picking up the record for their playlist - saying the new track sounds “great” (Spud, Pacific FM).
