The quintet that make up Hampshire based rockers Canterbury were so young when their forthcoming debut album,‘Thank You’, was recorded, that they were unable to tour it due to educational commitments. Fast forward nearly two years later and they’re ready to finally unleash the opus, having toured relentlessly for the last 18 months, clocking up shows alongside Enter Shikari, You Me At Six and The Automatic in the process.
The ‘Thank You’ album will be released as a free download on Monday 23rd November. Before that however, there’s a limited edition single that coincides with their impending dates supporting Billy Talent, thenHundred Reasons and their own headline jaunt. ‘Eleven, Twelve’ is released on 7” vinyl on Monday 26th October.
Additionally, at the time of writing, Rou Reynolds of Enter Shikari is working on a remix of b-side and live favourite ‘Friends? We’re More Like A Gang’ under his ROUT dub-step alias. Look out for that on the web nearer to release date.
