Continuing their futuristic theme throughout 'The E.N.D', The Black Eyed Peas have released the video for their latest single. The song 'Imma Be Rocking That Body', is the fourth (and fifth) international release from their number one album.

The single was co-produced by 'Sexy Bitch (ft. Akon)' and 'When Love Takes Over' producer David Guetta. The video is a mash-up, which includes both the 'Imma Be' and 'Rock That Body' tracks off the album.

The ten-minute long medley was shot, for the first half, on a desert track in California in January with a very futuristic/robotic inspired costume encorporating lots of metal and leather.

In the 'Rock That Body' half of the video, the scene flips to a city street where the band fight off a supersized robot and shoot speaker guns at the citizens, before a robotic dance-off takes place. Obviously a mundane and everyday event for the chart-topping group.

The song is a musical masterpiece which encorporates so many different genres and sounds into one sure to be chart topper. From dirty bass-laden hip hop at the start, the song switches between funk, electropop and synth sounds to create quite an ear full. The sound is definitely unique and 'The Peas have certainly created their own niche for their signature hip hop/electronic fusion.

A little criticism is that some sounds are quite reminscent of dance acts like Stardust and Groove Armada and the start of the song sounds a bit like just another track from 'The Dutchess'. But the track does not disappoint and of course form your own opinions on the new video, displayed above.
