RELENTLESS ENERGY DRINK‘S monthly night returns to the Relentless Energy Garage on November 11th 2010 with another monthly installment of the best new music to grace the stage at this iconic London venue.
Ten-piece Bristolian band, CRIPPLED BLACK PHOENIX will headline the November edition of The Relentless Energy Sessions. This collective of talented musicians have included members from Mogwai, Iron Monkey, Gonga, Electric Wizard and more. Cripple Black Phoenix bring progressive, rural post-rock sounds, with an ambient folk, twist and a curious hint of euphoria thrown into the mix. They are set to bring an incredible night for all fans with a thirst for great new music.
ANNA CALVI takes up the support slot brining a wild and emotional live performance. The critically acclaimed Domino Records singer song writer has just returned from supporting Nick Cave on his recent tour. This powerful musician creates an amazing combination of musical darkness and shimmering hope, influenced by an eclectic array of music, including Captain Beefheart, The Stones, Maria Callas and classical genres. Be prepared to be blown away by this hotly tipped act....
Opening the Relentless Energy Sessions will be the five leather-clad rollers that make up DARK HORSES performing a set which will infuse psychedelic rock with soul. New on the music radar, Dark Horses have stormed to early success as they have supported Kasabian, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Black Mountain. The November Relentless Energy Sessions yet again delivers a line up which joyfully echos the best new music to the scene.
