In an exciting new collaboration, London Sinfonietta are working with the hugely talented experimental indie pop band Micachu and the Shapes. Led by classically trained Mica Levi, the band have received critical acclaim for their recent album Jewellery, which blends the organic, the digital and the analogue with instruments such as homemade guitars and a vacuum cleaner.
On Saturday 1 May at 8pm, Kings Place Hall 1 this collaboration will be showcased as London Sinfonietta perform with the band in a unique event.
The concert is the culmination of London Sinfonietta's Experiment!, a three day festival of experimental music which gives you the chance to explore the music from the finest experimental composers from the US and UK.
