August 30th sees the release of the infectious new single by Middleman "Its Not Over Yet" through Blip Records/ Universal.
Starting with the euphoric plea "Please give me something to calm me down", the next 3 minutes 14 seconds see Middleman deliver a pure adrenalin rush.
There is also "Its Not Over Yet" Ruckspin remix, an epic Dub Step Dance Floor Destroyer.
Leed's based Middleman have swiftly gained a fervent live following with tight energetic live shows and this has seen the release of two singles , Blah Blah Blah and Good To Be Back, reaching 14 and 10 in the Indie Chart respectively.
Steve Lamacq has voted Middleman his unsigned band of the week, Zane Lowe, Colin Murray and Huw Stephens have played them on heavy rotation and Stephens invited them down to record a live session at the Maida Vale Studios for his show.
Middleman have played over 200 live gigs, both as headliners and supporting acts as diverse as Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, The Streets, Jack Penate, Lethal Bizzle, The Go Team!, Toots And The Maytals, Esser, Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip and The Sunshine Underground. Plus they've energised crowds at over a dozen festivals including; Latitude, Secret Garden Party, Reading and Leeds (both the Festival Republic Stage and the BBC Introducing Stage).
Having wowed the crowds at South By South West 2010 Middleman are currently finishing their self-produced debut album which is set for release in early 2011.
2010 is going to be a big year for, if not THE year of, Middleman and their unique brand of quintessentially British, feel-good, big-beat, toe-tapping, ear-mashing hip-pop.
