Oasis are back with their new single ‘The Shock Of The Lightning’ and it’s a classic Oasis track. Even though the band aren’t renowned for deviating very far from their usual style- it doesn’t matter, they’ve got a sound that works and Liam’s got a unique voice. So what we have here is around four minutes of classic Oasis rock ‘n’ roll.
Keeping with the tradition of great Oasis B-sides is a chemical Brothers Remix of ‘Falling Down’, which is just as good as an earlier collaboration ‘Setting Sun’. They probably won’t win any new fans with this single, but Oasis have more than proved themselves, they’ve been knocking out great tunes for well over a decade.
