Opening with an acoustic guitar and Sam Duckworth’s emotional vocals War of the Worlds is all very sweet and gentle with whispered backing vocals, building up with the emotion drenched line so the next time that you need me don’t expect to call before it all kicks in with added fast paced pounding drums.
It follows a similar formula as previous single Chronicles of a Bohemian Teenager minus the ba ba ba ba bits, which perhaps makes this single better as it forces you to concentrate more on the vocal delivery. Enjoy.
