By rights the Oxfordshire born and Nantwich based song-crafter should still be sitting back and enjoying the Radio play and chat show invites afforded by her recent, soul-foraging and upbeat mingling of folk/pop and mild indie full-length, ‘Liejacker’.
This is not the Thea Gilmore way and her prolific natures means that a new single that takes on a more bountiful and inviting gait is unleashed, harking back to the vibe given off on her ‘Rules For Jokers’ album. Twisted folk woven guitars wrap around the slowly soaring, crisp pop vocals to bind together a hearty number that continues Thea’s thoughtfulness and sees her returning to the upbeat stance. It is sure to win her new friends.
