The Engineers - Three Fact Fader
Released: 6th August 2009
Label: Kscope

'Three Fact Fader' from the Engineers was a long time labour of love and with its release finally apon us, you can see where the effort has gone.

The album shows an abundance of craft, layers of energy and built up dreamscapes right from the opening drone of 'Clean Coloured Wire'.

This is serious stuff and does take some effort on the listerner behalf to reap the full rewards, Engineers clearly are a band who comprehend their art. The lack of change in pace throughout is a negative, there are only 2 gears on show, so if you were expecting some disco dancing, look elsewhere.
