The journeying six Londoner’s who proudly represents The Fall Out Trust, elect to pluck one of their more longing pieces from their display of refusal to comply with current trends that is debut album ‘In Case Of The Flood’. Main man, Joe Winter possesses ruggedness in his vocal prowess that Gaz Coombes would once ooze with impunity.
The way the sound tosses around various moods, with slow build ups to the collectively bolting rushes of each musician, makes it easy to justify the size of this outfit and there are no bit parts either. The Fall Out Trust’s plight is similar in many ways to that of The Mystery Jets, in the sense that they manage to sound a bit out there and have their own clear vision. Therefore, it may take a little while for people to reach where they are, the second album could be here before this fully happens.
