This debut by Londoner Ali Love is combines the styles of Art Brut, Artic Monkeys and every other band of a similar ilk on the scene at the moment. It is the fun tale of a night out gone wrong.
While some of the lyrics from the title track will not relate to everyone, most of it will strike a chord with people who have had a night out they would rather forget. But even those who like the current electronic-based indie pop rock and can't relate to the song will enjoy this, as it is a good example for the trend.
B-side track 'Video Dream Girl' takes a slower approach but does not take a back seat against the title track and stands out on its own merits. Also with an electronic background, this a more pop orientated, but you could imagine a video to it being on rotation on MTV2 as much as title track 'K Hole'.
