Sometimes a band will come along and will dramatically (if only for a short amount of time) alter the music scene then a few similar sounding bands from the same area will be picked up by labels looking for there own little version.
It’s a bit like waiting for buses in one sense. It happened after Oasis, after The Libertines and now in Sheffield because of the Arctic Monkeys and their meteoric rise to prominence
with Little Man Tate comfortably falling into this scene.
Feedback opens the song and from then on in a mainly steady and straight forward guitar accompaniment reminiscent of The Libertines kicks in. The slight shuffle to the drums here and there occurs but mainly the song just plods along at a stead and reliable pace though out. The songs lyrics are narrative and mainly deal with everyday subjects with a slight humour in addition and are sung by Jon Windel in his broad northern drawl.
Overall okay but lacks that certain sparkle that makes the band or the song stand out from any others lumped into the same bracket.
