This titbit of crunching percussion catapulted post-hardcore shows that forthcoming album, ‘In Regards To Myself’ could add a drop of intensity and murkiness to 2004’s shuddering full-length ‘They’re Only Chasing Safety’. Spencer Chamberlain’s fervid screech kicks in right from the off to jump on the percussion and grinding guitars, confronting the topic of fear with the ferocity of Ricky Hatton. Drummer, Aaron Gillespie adds a haunting backing touch to help the completion eerie, frantic and bewildered snippet of a band that are beginning to find their true pitch. This is somewhere between Hawthorne Heights and an early Thursday sound, a combination that will intrigue alternative sound seekers.
