Paul Weller - Wild Blueyonder
Released: 6th November 2006
Label: Yep Roc

After a hugely successful session on the BBC Electric Proms it’s obvious that the ex-Jam frontman is well and truly back on form.
Unfortunately he’s not picked the best of his new material as his next single. Anyone familiar with his previous solo efforts will know and possibly enjoy the sound, but with the competitive download controlled singles market thriving mainly on the younger audience Weller is going to have a tough time selling this one.
Wild Blueyonder has a bluesy pace to it with guitar solos not dissimilar to his material from Wild Wood. To be honest, this was probably best left as an album track rather that using it to promote his forthcoming album.
