How rare. The rolling drums, the building, rhythmic chords and drop before the chorus. Upon reaching the chorus, the gearbox drops from fourth to third, the accelerate down and a change up to fifth once you’ve beaten the rest at the lights: Goldfrapp sound like U2 here.

The vocals are soft and pleasant and the song works on the above dynamic with none of the bite of a minimal Edge guitar overlay or a Clayton bass. The middle eight veers into Enya territory and then we’re back to something that could be Diet Angels and Airwaves.
