This track starts with a real rnb feel, with the beat and vocals quite simple but melodic. Its really quite nice to listen to. When the rest of the band come in, the melodic theme is carried on with the support of the bass guitar which uses more than just the basic chord note.
Im not a massive fan of Linkin Park, although I did see them just before they became famous, and enjoyed it a lot then, but that was a long time ago! However this track has changed my opinion. It is a cleverly written track, with some beautiful harmonies, and as a musician I can really notice the effort to use different notes of the chord to create a new sound.
